Ride or Die

Album: Co-Starring Too

She lit a fire and boiled some roots
Crunched up some mullein and jellybeans
Called on old ghosts and forgotten saints
Lined her eyes with copper Maybelline

She said a prayer to the mother of God
Wrapped a dime in a piece of tinfoil
Washed her hair with patchouli and peaches
Rubbed her breasts with sunflower oil

It’s ride or die (mortar o morir)
She’s betting everything on black lipstick
She got a double row tambourine
She dances around like Stevie Nicks

She wears earrings made of feathers and glass
And walks like she hears the Black Crowes in her head
Sometimes at night she does her money moves
It ain’t only babies who love shortnin’ bread

She wears a Levi jacket with lot of band patches
And plays the Stones Wild Horses on her stereo
Sometimes she pretends she is Marianne Faithful
Young and strung out in a south of France chateau

It’s ride or die (mortar o morir)
She’s betting everything on black lipstick
She got a double row tambourine
She dances around like Stevie Nicks
